Due to a huge re-investment in 2016 we are looking now to capitalize on an industry uplift by creating a high performance Account Manager role who will take Carbuyerguide and Vanbuyersguide websites and grow revenue through a structured account management process. With traffic of over 300,000 active users a month, is perfectly positioned to gain increased revenue and market share. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual with excellent sales experience, coupled with knowledge of classified advertising. Previous experience / knowledge of the motoring industry and clients is an advantage. The correct person will be looking to develop their career with a highly successful company with expansive room for personal development and autonomous growth. With new technology and products launching this year, this is an opportune time to take the lead of one of Irelands best known motoring brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager the successful candidate will be expected to deliver and perform on the following

  • Generate business opportunities through effective B2B selling.
  • Establish rapport, build relationships and identify business opportunities with clients.
  • Be able to thrive in a target-driven and fast paced sales environment
  • Commit to achieving both personal and team goals.
  • Grow revenue from managing existing online advertising clients – Car dealers; Motor Industry related advertisers and 3rd party trade partners.
  • Deliver value messages to clients by developing compelling commercial statements from the KPI’s delivered on their listings and campaigns on
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets – Gain support from dealers and advertisers through subscriptions and grow dealer spend by up selling online solutions to match clients advertising requirements.
  • Develop a targeted pipeline of business and identify opportunities by analysis and research into a defined list of accounts.

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Min 2 - 3+ years’ experience as a Sales Professional in a fast paced target driven environment as an Account Executive, Telesales representative
  • Proven track record of sales – achieving and exceeding sales targets on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Direct cold calling and selling to the business market
  • Proficiency using MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Professional telephone manner and an excellent communicator.
  • Outstanding communication skills and excellent client focused attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a driven team – positive can do attitude
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Forward thinking and work well under pressure – always striving to be at their best

What we offer:

  • A very attractive basic salary €23-€26k (negotiable based on experience)
  • Highly competitive Uncapped commission structure, with realistic OTE between €35-€45k+ easily achievable
