On the 1st August 1936, BÅ™etislav Jan Procházka and JindÅ™ich Kubias returned from a 44 day journey covering 27,700km, 3 continents and 15 countries. This wasn’t the first long distance journey the car faced though, in 1934 the Rapid trekked across Africa over a two year long period covering over 52,000km.
