To check your car’s brake fluid levels; firstly pop open the bonnet and locate the brake fluid reservoir. Some cars will have a brake fluid indicator light on your dashboard that will warn you that your levels are running low. You should be able to see the fluid levels without touching anything by looking at the Max and Min markings on the side of the container. If the reservoir is too dirty to clearly see the fluid levels, simply remove the plug and unscrew the cap to look inside and inspect the levels. Obviously if the level falls below the Minimum line marking, you need to top up your brake fluid. If the level of brake fluid is excessively low in your car the brake pads, located at the tyres, will experience unnecessary wear and tear.
