Your cars tyres are the only things connecting you to the road, so it is of the upmost importance that you regularly check the tread of your tyres to ensure that they are roadworthy.
To correctly inspect your tyres, start by turning the steering outwards so you can clearly see the entire surface. Visually inspect the depth of the treads of the tyres in comparison to the wear indicators on the tyre.
When the tread is worn down to be level with the tread indicators, and then you must change your tyres. If in doubt on whether or not you need to change them, replace the tyres, it’s better to be safe than sorry!
Putting new tyres onto your car will improve the drive quality and make the car feel like new.
