To repair a stone chip on your car’s paintwork, take a piece of wire and move back the surrounding rubber, exposing the wires to use as a miniature wire brush.
Find out what paint your specific car has by looking up the make and model, you can also contact the manufacturer if you are unsure about which touch up paint colour to buy.
Begin by removing any rust that may have gathered around the chip using your wire brush. Next, wipe the chip with a cloth removing any excess dirt. Take your paint and carefully apply a small amount onto the chipped area.
Leave this to dry for 10-15 minutes and return to apply a second coat of paint.
