This is Car Buyers Guide's new Honda Civic review 2017 with Honda's new 1.0-litre 3-cylinder 130bhp engine. Our test drive of this car was at its Irish launch and spent up to two hours with the new Honda Civic in Wicklow, Ireland. With the new Honda Civic came plenty of changes. Now there is a sportier look and the front of the vehicle has a newly designed, muscular nose.
These autos look great and there seems to be a change in Honda's target market. The car has become young again. The new 1.0 litre engine is surprisingly good, it reminds Daragh Ó Tuama of the new 1.0 TSI engine in the Skoda Octavia. This Civic comes to the market with an entry-level price of €23,750. For that price, you get the well-specced "Smart" trim. While the price may seem expensive, you do get loads of equipment as standard. They have excellent safety features like Collision Mitigation braking system, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Adaptive Cruise Control, and much more.
