This is the Car Buyers Guide Tesla Model X 2017 review. These are our first impressions. We got to drive the Tesla model X for the first time last week at the launch of the first Tesla Store in Ireland.
Our test vehicle was the Model X 90d. As with the Model S, its elecrtic power delivered instant torque to the wheels, which results in a very fast 0-100km/h time (5 seconds we believe).
Daragh Ó Tuama tells us that regardless of the suspension setting that he was in, he found the ride to be a bit bouncy. His other negative point about the car was that the looks were not entirely to his liking. Apart from that, we think that Daragh is impressed by the Tesla Model X. Yes, it's unconventional, but it stands out from the crowd. The falcon doors are very much to his liking.
The car is available with rear seats, however, our test model offered four seats to the rear. Two in row two and two in row three.
This car also features Tesla's mammoth 17" touch screen - which is excellent.
This is our first drive of the Tesla Model X. We spent at most two hours with the vehicle. We hope for a more indepth test drive of the vehicle in the future. At that stage, we hope to create both an infotainment review and a full test drive review.
