2007 Volvo S40 Review

S40 and V50 Get a New Look Too

The S40 and V50 have not been left out in the raft of new changes to the model range. The car that is so important to the success of Volvo in Ireland gets a new exterior design. There is a new, softer nose, rear bumper, lower door and sill mouldings, new headlights and taillights, new fog lights and on the V50 there are new roof rails in bright metal.

Inside, there is a new centre console, with a rather unfortunate Nordic Light Oak option, which, to be honest, looks like some rejected Ikea furniture. Avoid it. There are also better storage solutions within the interior of the car, too. The 1.8-litre Flexifuel model will now be available in three levels, S, SE and SE Lux, and all are entitled to a 50 percent VRT reduction.
